Huishonger

Huishonger is a term coined by social design agency Studio Sociaal Centraal and roughly translates in the intrinsic need for a house. This title was used for a public exposition at Stadslab RAUM curated by Tom Loois and Jesse Job Jörg attempts to deepen the discussion around the housing crisis, communicate the excessive results of failing housing policy and highlight promising ideas for the future. The commissioned works contained amongst others an in situ theater performance, larger-than-life kite installations and a converted vending machine selling a new type of home ritual.
